Come join new and returning grad students and faculty for a potluck picnic dinner! After the fun in the sun we'll head to the nearby Harp Bar for some adult beverages and more hanging out. This will be a great chance to meet others in the program and relax after your first week (back) at UMass. Dogs are welcome. Oh, and your cute kids can come, too.
Directions:
Walking/Biking/Driving: Head north from campus on North Pleasant Street. Go through one stop light and keep right on 63 North. Mill River Recreation Area will be on your right after the little shopping center.
Bus: Take either the Sunderland or Puffers Pond bus lines and get off at the stop by House of Teriyaki (at the stop light at the intersection of N Pleasant St/Pine/Meadow/63-N). Walk one block north past the shopping center on 63-N. Entrance to the park is on your right.
