This past Thursday, March 25, 7 NRC grad students, several faculty and a number of Green Building Technology undergrads toured an exceptionally green home in Turners Falls, MA. We learned about it's wise site orientation, robust insulation, low-toxicity materials, ingenious window design and nifty technology. We would like to thank Tina and Doug (the homeowners) and Bick (the builder) for their great enthusiasm, knowledge, and friendliness. It was a truly eye-opening and inspiring experience.
